Hotel Tussentijd
Illustrations for a children’s book written by Lisa Boersen, published by Gottmer in 2011.
One day Bibi, Melvin, Mrs Kokkeltoren and the Minister of Finance hide from shame on the toilet. Before they know it, they end up on the toilet of Hotel Tussentijd: a hotel for people who are embarrassed by shame and who would rather hide away forever. They have no idea what is happening and discover the intentions of the hotel in their own way. When they meet Sari and Giovanni, they hear that they can stay at the hotel for 24 hours to think about what they have done; in the meantime time is stopped.
Hotel Tussentijd won the first prize of the Flemish Children’s and Youth Jury in 2013.
